This project is funded until March 2011.  Dewis C.I.L. will receive support from the Coalfields Regeneration Trust until that time to employ two people in part time posts to deliver and develop this training.

The courses we are offering are open to a variety of people which will mainly be those who undertake paid work (such as personal assistants) and volunteer work with disabled people.

All our courses are designed so that participants can gain a better insight into how their individual role affects the disabled person who they are in contact with. The courses are also set out from the perspective of disability equality and in the spirit of promoting independence and choice for disabled people.
