I provided a range of play activities both indoor and outdoors. I assisted the child with development through learnt play and I adhered to strict Health & Safety protocols.
What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? To be kind, caring, empathic person always putting the needs of the child first, without compromising safety. To be creative through activities of learn & play.
How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? My kind and caring nature will assist in ensuring the child is comfortable and confident in amy environment. I will aim to work with them in tasks and not take over. Giving them a sense of responsibility and independence, always ensuring they are safe.
What is it about PA work which appeals to you? I thoroughly enjoy working with children and find working with them extremely enjoyable and rewarding.
What are your hobbies/interests? I enjoy reading and I like cleaning my home.
