I have worked in the care industry for many years, first as a domiciliary care assistant, and then supported adults with learning disabilities since working for partnership of care in 2012, I finished with partnership of care in 2016, to work for direct payments, supporting a lady with autism, which I still care for. I have worked for Diverse Cymru, covering a few different clients for main carer to have holidays, a lady who suffered with Dementia, another lady who suffered mental health and another lady who suffered with MS, she needed support with domestic duties, cooking and helping to get in and out of bath tub. Then got offered a permanent position with a elderly lady with learning disabilities, to access the community and enjoy the hobbies she likes, I am still supporting this lady, but now through Dewis care.
