CDP1575 Personal Assistant to Adult Quote ref: CDP1575 on application form Apply now JOB DESCRIPTION Personal Assistant GENERAL INFORMATION Personal assistant needed in the Butetown area to take client’s daughter to and from school. To provide verbal guidance throughout when supporting to walk daughter to and from school, especially when crossing roads. The client is a visually impaired mother who cannot always take her daughter to school. The personal assistant would also need to take the client to appointments and assist with other duties when needed. HOURS OF WORK 3.75 hours per week. Times: 8.45am to take to school 3:00 to pick up after school Monday – Friday. May also include other hours to assist with client’s appointments. RATE OF PAY £9.50 per hour. TASKS CAN INCLUDE Tasks to be carried out by the personal assistant will include: Taking and picking up daughter to and from school. Assistance with any other appointments for the client. Car driver (preferred, not essential) ABOUT THE JOB Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A probationary period of 6 months will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly on return of a payslip provided by the Centre for Independent Living. You will receive appropriate holidays and holiday pay.
