JOB DESCRIPTION

Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I’m in my early 70’s living with my husband in Talbot Green. For 40 years I was a medical doctor but ended this 10 years ago when I contracted rheumatoid arthritis which is a progressive disorder effecting my mobility and dexterity.

Earlier this year I had a stroke – now I have no use of the right side of my body. Thankfully my speech, cognition and vision has not been effected. Physiotherapy has helped some but I still can’t walk and rely on mobility aids for transfers and getting about the house. There are ramps installed around my home to make movement easier for me, especially to get into the garden which I love.
