JOB DESCRIPTION

Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 24 year old girl living in Tonyrefail with my family. I have mild autism. I’m a happy girl, usually in a good mood and I am easy to get along with.

I enjoy watching comedies and cartoons and reading children’s books. I tend not be very outgoing and talkative so the ideal person for the job is someone who can help me to bring out my personality. I’d like to meet new people and in the past I’ve been accepting of new people and new faces.

Some things I don’t like are walking long distances and loud noises like the hoover.

ABOUT THE JOB

The support I need comes from a community care package which allows me to employ my own personal assistant.  As my PA you will help me to develop my independence and social skills. I would like you to encourage me to try new activities and to have new positive experiences. You will take me out socially and this will allow my family some respite.
