JOB DESCRIPTION

Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 28 year old wheelchair-bound young woman, I currently live independently in the Merthyr area but I am finding it difficult to maintain this, as I am also a busy professional.

My legs are essentially non-functional and I cannot stand. This is as a result of a car accident 2+ years ago, as such my disability is relatively new to me and I am still exploring therapy possibilities and ways to keep active in the community.

I am based in Merthyr but I do still drive (an adapted vehicle) and I lead an active lifestyle, having retained my adventurous and open-minded nature. I enjoy music, reading, writing, creative arts and engaging with nature as much as is possible.

PURPOSE OF JOB

Ideally I am seeking help mostly for general household chores to aid management of my fatigue and pain and allow me to divert my energy to my career, fundraising, therapy and leisure time. Simple household chores take me significantly longer than is acceptable due to her limitations.

HOURS OF WORK
