JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 16-year-old boy living in the Penrhiwceiber area. I have lots of hobbies including Lego and Drawing. My main interest is gaming, and I will play games most of my day if I could. I would like to be able to go clothes shopping so that I can pick my own clothes as my mum would like me to be more independent and start making my own decisions.

I have Autism, ADHD and Anxiety so don’t cope well with loud or crowded places and will make you aware if I need to leave. I like to visit the seaside and go in the arcades and stop off at my favourite fast food restaurants KFC and MacDonalds.

PURPOSE OF JOB

Support me out in the community
Support with reading and writing if necessary

HOURS OF WORK

8 hours Term time and 12 hours School holidays to be worked flexible over 2 days.

RATES OF PAY

£16.00 per hour plus mileage.

Supporting me to go out in the community
Supervising me to make sure I am safe
Help me find new activities and places to go
To assist me to attend local appointments
Help me access my snacks/food/drink
To help with reading and understanding when we are out

ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).

The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
