How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? *: I have enjoyed many years of experience working with individuals with complex and diverse needs including dementia, mobility issues, learning difficulties, administering medication and personal care. I respect individuals rights to choice and independence and support accordingly giving guidance in order to make an informed decision for the best possible outcome.

What is it about PA work which appeals to you? *: Giving more time to an individual as a personal assistant will be more fulfilling than restricted multi-visits to various service users. Familiarity is important for trust, ensuring close relationships can be built upon for peace of mind for the individual and their family.
