Dewis CIL has a number of contracts to provide services across Wales. But sometimes a service, such as Advocacy or Litigation Friend, is needed when it's not part of our normal contracts. For example, when local authorities require support for a parent during child protection procedures, if they need support understanding, as required under the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014.

In these cases and others we can provide a service as a 'Spot Purchase'. This is usually where the local authority funds us specifically to support a particular client. These must be authorised by a relevant manager.

Please complete a referral form (and a child care proceedings addendum form if relevant) and contact the Advocacy team for the necessary billing forms. If you choose to complete the referral using our Microsoft Word referral forms, the easiest method is to email these to our Advocacy team via [email protected] and request the Spot Purchase billing documents.

If a referral is made via our online form, please contact us with reference to the referral when requesting the Spot Purchase billing documents.
