A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

 PURPOSE OF JOB

Mainly to assist me at meal times, so that I can maintain my independence in my own home.

PLACE OF WORK

 At my home.

I currently have 3 calls per day, 7 days per week.

 Breakfast 7.45am – 8.45am

Lunch      12 midday – 1pm

Tea          5pm – 6pm

I am looking for up to 2 PAs to share these callouts with my existing PA.

RATE OF PAY

£9.00 per hour weekdays

£10.00 per hour weekends

TASKS INVOLVED

  • Preparing hot and cold meals.
  • Maintaining a clean kitchen.
  • Feeding and watering my dog as and when needed.
  • Morning calls only – helping me to apply cream to my legs.

 TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

  • A person who respects the privacy and confidentiality of working in someone else’s home.
  • Someone trustworthy, reliable and punctual.
  • Someone with a caring and patient nature.
  • A flexible approach to work as occasionally you may be asked to cover for another PA’s holidays.

 ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted.  A trial period will be necessary in the first instance.  The wage will be paid monthly on return of a payslip provided by the Centre for Independent Living.  You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You may be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you.

Thank you.
