SOMETHING ABOUT ME 

I’m a young man in my 20’s living in Penarth. I live a very active lifestyle I enjoy going to the cinema, dining out, swimming, cycling, pool, pitch and putt golf, ten pin bowling and going to the gym. When I’m in the house I enjoy watching action movies and playing on my Xbox. I have traits of Autistic spectrum disorder but not been officially diagnosed. I can be reserved until I get to know someone but require someone to be proactive and help me organise my schedule.

 PLACE OF WORK

At home and out in the local community

 PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • Help me build my confidence when out in the community by supporting me use public transport
  • To provide respite for my family
  • Help me to be become as independent as possible
  • Looking to employ someone to support me to actively engage in the local community.

 HOURS OF WORK

5 hours a week of which is flexible between Monday and Thursday

RATE OF PAY

£9.60 per hour

TASKS CAN INCLUDE

  • Supporting me out in the local community to push pass my fears and complete tasks.
  • Help me manage my money and budgeting skills
  • Planning and organising my schedule in advance so I don’t have to think of things to do.
  • Sometimes providing company and watching films at home if adverse weather conditions.
  • Ensure I’m safe at all times

 ABOUT THE JOB

I will be your legal employer so you will need a National Insurance number. Pay will be four weekly and appropriate paid annual leave is given. There will be trial period involved and a police check will be necessary (which I will arrange).
