SOMETHING ABOUT ME

I’m a five year old boy from Cowbridge who has a sense of fun and infectious laugh; I’m very determined and tenacious. My excitement for things I love. I love the outdoors going to Cosmoton lakes and Porthcawl, anything to do with nature, wildlife, watching the ducks and swans on the lake. I enjoy going to swimming and traveling on the train. Things which are important to me are mummy, daddy and Emily. My grandparents and auntie Katy.  My other hobbies include being outside on my bike and scooter, when in the house I like listening to “hairy letters, nursery rhymes and music on my Ipad. I Have autism and I am non-verbal but try hard to use the beginning sounds of words.

  • To keep me safe at all times
  • Help me become more independent
  • Take me out and to do things I enjoy

HOURS OF WORK

4 hours a week which are flexible

RATE OF PAY

£10.30 per hour mileage included

TASKS CAN INCLUDE

  • I need to bite on things so always have my ”chewit” handy to give me
  • Assist me using my knife and folk
  • Keep me safe when crossing the road , no awareness of danger
  • I don’t always understand instructions so keep them simple and don’t use to many words
  • Take me out to do things I enjoy,
  • Help me become more independent
  • I am good at using PECS to tell you what I want but you might need to remind me to use them, failing that I will guide you where I want to go.

 ABOUT THE JOB

 I will be your legal employer so you will need a National Insurance number. Pay will be four weekly and appropriate paid annual leave is given. There will be trial period involved and a police check will be necessary (which I will arrange).
