Give details of your previous employment or experience which you think would help you to do this job. (required): I have worked two volunteer jobs in two different hospitals back in my home country. Where I took care of disabled and sick people. Giving them medications timely, helping them to dress up, encouraging them to eat, watching over them, running small errands for them and ensuring that the are safe. 

What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): Some of the important qualities while being a personal assistant to a disabled person includes: Empathy: the personal assistant must be empathetic in nature. Patience: one of the very important quality that a personal assistant to a disabled cant do without Dependability & Reliability: a personal assistant to a disabled person should be be some one, one can depend and rely on at all times. 

How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): Some of the ways I can contribute to the needs of a disabled person are: I will always ask about their needs if it looks like they need help, to ensure am not hindering them instead. Secondly, I will take their words or complaints seriously not feeling they are making it up. Offering to help them at all times Listening and paying attention to their needs. Encouraging and allowing them to make their decisions as regards their day to day activities
