(required): I have been a foster carer, worked in a secure mental health unit, domiciliary care for a short time, personal assistant for Dewis clients. Catering experience. Presently support work in a residential unit.

How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I have cared for many people over 20 years. Treat every person individually as to their capabilities. Ask the client what they would like to do, or try something new or different. 

 
What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): I am from a big family and have always loved helping other people with things that may be difficult for them to do themselves. I also love cooking and being practical.

Further Information: I am not able to work where there are cats and dogs as allergy to their hairs. Quite easily set off where they are in a home. I attended Glan Ely Comprehensive school 1971- 1976. Passed all general exams and have done all neccesary training for care support work and have certificates and enhanced DBS. That is on record at Dewis.
