Relief Personal Assistant

GENERAL INFORMATION

 

A relief Personal assistant needed to support two young females with a variety of living tasks which can include cooking, cleaning and personal care. PA to assist with social calls and accessing the community.

 

A car driver is essential for this role

 

Due to the level of personal care, the personal assistant would need to be female.

 

This is in the Penylan area of Cardiff.

 

You will be expected to cover current personal assistant shifts as and when needed.

 

HOURS OF WORK

18 Hours a week Monday to Friday.

Times to be discussed at interview.

RATE OF PAY

 £10.10 per hour and £15.15 for bank holidays

TASKS CAN INCLUDE

• Providing food and drinks, assisting with cooking.
• Social Calls and accessing the community / shopping.
• Providing personal care when needed.
• Assisting with other household duties if required.

 

TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

 Caring, friendly and chatty.

Preferably Manual Handling Trained if not Training can be provided.

Responsible and reliable.

Must be honest and trustworthy.

Car Driver Essential.

ABOUT THE JOB

 

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted.  A probation period will be necessary in the first instance.  Wages will be paid 4 weekly.  You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You will be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you.
