I have a lovely amenable nature and always have a smile for everyone. I love to be outdoors, taking long walks, visiting shops, anywhere really that involves being outside. Looking for someone who can assist me to keeping me safe out in the community and has humour and patience. I do require personal care and I like to feed myself with a healthy diet. PURPOSE OF THE JOB You will provide me with support and keep me safe, whilst taking me out on long walks in the community. HOURS OF WORK 4 hours per week - preferably a Saturday must be able to work flexibly which can be discussed at interview. RATE OF PAY £9.05 per hour TASKS CAN INCLUDE Walking – keeping me safe Visiting shops – keeping me safe Personal care Help me to stay with a healthy diet, sandwiches, fruit TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED Someone who is mindful of my condition and how it affects me Patience and understanding Someone who can be flexible with their time if needed Good humour ABOUT THE JOB Manual handling training is required. Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period of six months will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid four-weekly on return of a payslip provided by the Centre for Independent Living. You will receive appropriate holidays and holiday pay.
