I enjoy gaming especially on Nintendo and the Xbox. I attend a local gaming group that is funded by the Job Opportunities project in my local community. I am looking for a PA to assist me on alternate Friday’s to support me in this group. PURPOSE OF JOB Supporting me to access activities within the community PLACE OF WORK At my home and in the community HOURS OF WORK 3 hrs alternate weeks on Friday mornings. RATE OF PAY £8.35 TASKS INVOLVED Keeping me safe and supporting me to access activities in the local community on a Friday morning. TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED To be mindful of my conditions To be patient and reliable To be dependable and punctual To adhere to confidentiality Someone who shares common interests. ABOUT THE JOB Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly on return of a payslip provided by the Centre for Independent Living. You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You may be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you.
