Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

Personal assistant is required for an 8 year old girl who has Autism and lives in St Mellons, Cardiff.

She enjoys singing, dancing, arts and crafts and going to play centres.

PURPOSE OF JOB

To support out in the community and provide respite for the family.

HOURS OF WORK

4 hours every other weekend during term time and 4 hours p/w during the school holidays.

RATE OF PAY

£12.45 per hour

TASKS INVOLVED

To support out in the community to activities that she enjoys. Some support may be required for personal care.

TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

• Reliable
• Friendly
• Caring
• Car driver with clean license with access to own car.

ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A probation period will be necessary in the first instance. Wages will be paid 4 weekly. You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You will be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you.
