JOB DESCRIPTION

Part-Time Personal Assistant

SOMETHING ABOUT ME

I am a 22 year old man living with my mother in the Aberdare area. I have Global Development Delay. I have a keen interest in football. I support Barcelona and Cardiff City. I have attended college and the course I did was helpful for building my life skills. I am very sociable and enjoy making new friends but I can be shy at first until I get to know you. I have a good sense of humour and always like to joke and laugh.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

I would like to meet more people in my age range and discover different social activities. I am also a Cardiff City season ticket holder and would like to attend the home games.

Cardiff and surrounding areas of Aberdare

HOURS OF WORK

6 hour block per week (mainly weekend)

RATE OF PAY

£10.00 per hour including weekly expenses

TASKS CAN INCLUDE

Pub lunch to watch the football
Watching Cardiff football at their grounds as I have a season ticket
Guiding me to discover more social activities I may enjoy
Helping me gain more confidence with public transport
Ensuring my safety at all times

ABOUT THE JOB

Although this is a part-time job, it will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The salary will be paid on a monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay given (5.6 weeks pro rata).

The post is subject to a probationary period and a DBS (Police) Check at no cost to you. You will have to supply 2 references, one of which should be able to comment on your work practices.
