Part-time Personal Assistant

PURPOSE OF JOB

❖ Main reason for the position, support at home, some hours out in the community,

❖ How many PAs I will require minimum 2 but 3 or more up 6 preferable Pa’s its double handed.(female as personal care)

HOURS OF WORK (33.5 hours Total (31.5 of which is double handed)

❖ Days and times of worktimes - 4 visits between the hours of 7 am and 10 pm. Am call 45 mins X 2 Carers

Lunch Call 30 min X 2 Carers

Tea call 30 min X 2 Carers

Evening Back to bed call 30 min X 2 Carers

2 Hours Social Support one evening a week X 1 Carer

RATES OF PAY

£9.85 per hour

ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid four Monthly and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).

The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
