I am a wheelchair user, my communication can be challenging but I can make my feelings and wishes known. I am looking for a Personal Assistant to come in during the mornings to assist my mother in preparing me for school. HOURS OF WORK 10 hours per week Term Time only 1 hour in the morning 7.30/8am and 1 hour in the evening Monday to Friday RATE OF PAY £12.00 per Hour TASKS CAN INCLUDE Assist my mother in helping me to get dressed ready for school. TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED Reliable, trustworthy, caring, friendly, patient and calming Non smoker preferred ABOUT THE JOB Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A probationary period of 6 months will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid 4-weekly on return of a payslip provided by the Centre for Independent Living. You will receive appropriate holidays and holiday pay.
