JOB DESCRIPTION

Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I live near Cowbridge with my mother who works in the day. I am looking for a PA that is practical around the house and can help with housework and food preparation. I need help going out so a confident driver is needed. I have two dogs and two cats.

I am in my early 20s and have a long-term chronic condition and need a PA who is LGBTQ friendly. I have to pace my activity carefully so I need someone who is patient and respectful of my wishes. I need someone who is relaxed and enjoys the outdoors – gardening in particular and most importantly is open-minded.

HOURS OF WORK

There are 16 hours per week available.

Hours to be worked during the week, preferably afternoons as I am not able to be up and about before 10.30am.

RATES OF PAY

£12.00 per hour

TASKS CAN INCLUDE

Preparing meals, shopping and light household tasks
Help with getting organised to go out
Making sure that I am safe when outside

ABOUT THE JOB

Although this is a part-time job, it will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The salary will be paid on a four weekly basis and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to a probationary period and a DBS (Police) Check at no cost to you.
