Apply now Personal Assistant A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF I am an 85 year old man who lives in the Barry area with my wife. I used to be very outgoing and chatty and could get on with anyone I met. I have 2 children, 4 grandchildren and lots of great grandchildren who I enjoy coming to visit. I worked all of my life, doing a variety of jobs. I used to like watching horseracing and boxing. These days I am happy to watch whatever is on the TV. I used to be a real bookworm, preferring nonfiction and especially anything to do with history or war. Travelling has always been my favourite hobby. Before I had a stroke, we used to go on holidays to West Wales often and then have one ‘big’ holiday a year. We went to Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong. Since I had a stroke, I have right side weakness, which has resulted in me experiencing several falls recently. Because of the stroke, I have been diagnosed with Parkinsonism, this has affected my speech greatly.
