JOB DESCRIPTION

Personal Assistant

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

I am a 50 year old lady living within the Penarth area. I would describe myself as very quiet, calm, friendly and quite anxious. I am looking to employ a PA to encourage me to be more independent but also access my local community more.

I love to go bird watching but due to my mobility I prefer to stay in the car and watch the birds instead of getting out and walking. I also enjoy listening to music and have the radio on all day long.

I would like a PA who can support me with shopping, seeing my family & friends, going for walks and to encourage me to shower. I do struggle with being in crowded places and this makes me very anxious, the best way to reassure me is to take me away from the situation or distract me as much as possible. I sometimes get worried I may fall in the shower so i would like regular communication to ensure this doesn't happen. Due to being quite shy I find it very difficult making new friends or meeting new people.

I sometimes suffer with withdrawals from alcohol such as shakes, sweats and have previously had seizures. I have a bleed on the brain, and I suffer with vertigo which often makes me feel dizzy and i sometimes fall out of bed. My mobility is very limited at the moment and I do struggle to walk without holding onto furniture or surrounding objects.
