JOB DESCRIPTION

SOMETHING ABOUT ME 

I am a man in my 20's living in the Penarth area. I have traits of Autistic Spectrum disorder but have not been officially diagnosed. I live a very active lifestyle. Some of my hobbies include, Going to the Gym, Dining out, Cycling and playing on my Xbox. I am looking for a PA who can help me to build my confidence and become as independent as possible.

PLACE OF WORK

At home and out in the local community

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

·         Help me build my confidence when out in the community by supporting me use public transport

·         To provide respite for my family

·         Help me to be become as independent as possible

·         Looking to employ someone to support me to actively engage in the local community.

HOURS OF WORK

8 hours a week of which is flexible between Monday and Thursday

RATE OF PAY

£12.70, plus 25 miles at 40p

TASKS CAN INCLUDE

·         Supporting me out in the local community to push past my fears and complete tasks.

·         Help me manage my money and budgeting skills

·         planning and organising my schedule in advance so I don’t have to think of things to do.

·         Providing company and watching films at home if adverse weather conditions.

·         Ensure I’m safe at all times

ABOUT THE JOB

I will be your legal employer so you will need a National Insurance number. You will be paid on a four weekly schedule and appropriate paid annual leave is given. There will be trial a period involved and a police check will be necessary before employment commences.
