JOB DESCRIPTION
Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

We are the parents of an eight-year-old boy who has a diagnosis of Autism. We live in the Gabalfa area of Cardiff. He is happy, lovable and active. He loves outdoor activities such as going to the park or farm, as he loves animals and enjoys going on “adventures”. He has good verbal communication and shows great interest in other people and loves asking questions. He has a fantastic memory and remembers dates very well. He also enjoys reading and numbers. He is full of energy, but has a lack of awareness of safety so he requires full supervision when supported in the community. We require a PA who is caring, energetic and understanding and enjoys similar levels of interests. He is structured with his routines and certain rituals, so it is important that the employee is punctual and he needs a P.A who is committed and reliable who he can get to know very well.  You will need to support and guide him with regards to promoting his independence and he also requires support to developing friendships with others.
