Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

My name is David and I am a young man with Down Syndromes looking for a personal assistance to accompany me out to assist me in attending activities of my choice. I am a very happy young man with a good sense of humour and I can make a lovely cup of tea. Looking to employ a personal assistant to take me out in the community and to activities of my choice.

PURPOSE OF JOB

To take me out in the community to places of my choice and to keep me Safe at all times.

HOURS OF WORK

3.5  hours a week on Saturday’s and additional cover when needed to cover my other carer’s holiday’s . Flexibility would be required.

 

RATE OF PAY
 
£12.50 per hour.

●    Take me Swimming
●    Bowling
●    Walks 
●    Places of my choice
●    Cinema

TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

Car driver is preferable not important as I like to use public transport

ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted.  A probation period will be necessary in the first instance.  Wages will be paid 4 weekly.  You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You will be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you.
