JOB DESCRIPTION

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a gentleman in my early 70’s living in the Pontypridd area. I would like a PA to support me for my wife to have some respite.

I enjoy going out in the car for a ride and maybe to stop for a coffee, I also go out for walks with my family and their dogs. I have been diagnosed with early Dementia and my memory is not the best but I do try my best to remember things. I have epileptic seizures but haven’t had any since last June.

Sometimes I get anxious and will need to leave a certain place or situations but I will make you aware if I feel like this.

I enjoy Playing pool and Darts, so perhaps we could do that occasionally. I love Eric Clapton and enjoy listening to his music so if we was to stay in at times I listen to him.

It may take me a while to get used of a new PA but when I do we will get along really well.

RATES OF PAY

£13.00 per hour.

ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid four weekly and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).

The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
