Mae’r arolwg yn cael ei gynnal gan sefydliad o’r enw Cordis Bright. Maen nhw’n gweithio i Lywodraeth Cymru er mwyn cael gwybodaeth am effaith ei pholisi i dalu’r hyn a elwir yn ‘Gyflog Byw Gwirioneddol’ i weithwyr gofal cymdeithasol.

 

Beth yw’r Cyflog Byw Gwirioneddol?

Cyfradd gyflog yr awr yw’r cyflog byw gwirioneddol ac mae’n seiliedig ar gostau byw. Y cyflog byw gwirioneddol presennol yw £12.00 yr awr yng Nghymru.

Gwnaeth Llywodraeth Cymru gynllun i dalu’r Cyflog Byw Gwirioneddol i gynorthwywyr personol o fis Ebrill 2022. Efallai eich bod wedi clywed am hyn.

Do you receive a Direct Payment? Do you employ a Personal Assistant? If so, Cordis Bright would like to invite you to take part in a survey.

 

The survey is being ran by an organisation called Cordis Bright. They are working for the Welsh Government to find out about the impact of their policy to pay social care workers what’s called the ‘Real Living Wage’.

 

What is the Real Living Wage?

This is an hourly rate of pay and it’s based on the cost of living. The current Real Living wage is £12.00 per hour in Wales.

The Welsh Government made a plan to pay the Real Living Wage to personal assistants from April 2022. You may have heard about this.
