JOB DESCRIPTION

Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 16 year old girl living in the Fairwater area of Cardiff.

I am looking for a Personal Assistant to support and enable me to access social activities in the community.

PURPOSE OF JOB

Provide access to recreational and social activities.
Ensure safety and constant supervision

PLACE OF WORK

In my home and out in the community.

HOURS OF WORK

Hours are 6 per week, 9 per week in school holidays.

Hours are flexible: they can be worked after 4pm weekdays in term time, or on the weekend.

Happy to hear from persons who feel unable to commit to contracted hours but would like to be employed on a more casual basis.

RATE OF PAY

£12.85 per hour.

TASKS INVOLVED

To support with socialising: I am a people person and I enjoys just being in busy environments. The things that I enjoy are shopping, bowling, swimming, going for a walk, Pedal Power, going for a coffee, anything with music and dance.

To assist with personal care.
Partaking in activities in the community.
Encourage social interaction with peers.
Ensure safety and constant supervision.

ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A probation period will be necessary in the first instance. Wages will be paid 4 weekly. You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You will be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you.
