I also deliver training such as PBS, and active support. I am also currently employed on a relief contract with Dewis for a young lady with autism and support in taking her to her activities such as the gym and out for food.What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): Active support, doing everything with the person and not for the person. It is important that you provide the person with the best quality of life you are able too, and reduce all barriers and obstacles for anything they would like to do.How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I have a good knowledge of working with a range of complex service users, I have completed all training such as mental health, safeguarding. I am also currently completing my level 3 health and social.
