A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 17-year-old girl living in the Llantwit Fardre area with my parents and two dogs. I am an easy going and talkative person who enjoys listening to all sorts of music, watching films and critiquing and reviewing these and I like to watch theatre shows. I also love taking photos, Instagram and using digital media in general.

I have a diagnosis of epilepsy, and I am a full-time wheelchair user. I can also get overwhelmed/anxious when in very crowded places.

PURPOSE OF JOB

I am looking for a PA to support me to interact with the community and build a relationship away from my family. This will also help me to build some independence socially.

£15 per hour.

  • Going shopping together.
  • Personal care when required, this will be toileting support.
  • An epilepsy course is required before starting, this is to administer buccal midazolam should I have a seizure. You will also need my epilepsy plan.

TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

  • A car driver with business class insurance.
  • A non-smoker/vaper.
  • Someone happy to work in a home where dogs are present, although these are very well behaved.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).

The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
