Here is a brief overview of my qualifications and experience: • I hold a theology degree, along with additional certificates acquired through CPD training courses, demonstrating my commitment to continuous learning and professional development. • I have a track record of working with diverse groups, including vulnerable adults, families, and children in both community and educational settings. • I have previously worked with organizations such as the Presbyterian Church of Wales in Newport, Displace People in Action (DPIA) charity, which assists asylum seekers and refugees, and The Salvation Army. My experience in these roles has equipped me with strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by individuals from various backgrounds.What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): As a 51-year-old who has raised three sons while balancing work and caregiving responsibilities for my father and occasionally my mother-in-law, I understand the importance of resilience, adaptability, and time management.How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): My life experiences have profoundly shaped me into a compassionate and empathetic individual with a strong commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
