I believe I can contribute to the needs and independence of a disabled person by offering respectful, person-centered support that empowers rather than limits. My focus would be on enabling the individual to make their own choices and live life on their own terms, with assistance only where needed. This includes: Listening actively to understand their preferences, routines, and goals. Supporting daily tasks without taking over—encouraging independence by offering help only when necessary and in the way that’s preferred.
What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required):

I appreciate that PA work is personal, not just practical. It requires empathy, respect, and adaptability, and every day can bring something new. The role offers a unique chance to support someone’s goals, routines, and preferences in a way that’s truly tailored to them—not just following a job description, but being responsive and attentive to an individual’s real needs.
What are your hobbies/interests? (required):

Reading and writing, especially around topics like psychology, disability rights, and personal development. I enjoy learning and reflecting on different perspectives. Spending time outdoors, whether it’s walking, cycling, or just exploring new places—it helps me stay active and grounded. Listening to music and podcasts, both for relaxation and to stay informed or inspired. Cooking—I like trying new recipes and cooking for others it’s a relaxing and rewarding activity. Volunteering or community involvement, where possible, because I value connection and giving back.
