3CIPAFrom 1st April 2022 there is a Single Point of Contact for advocacy services in West Wales

The 5 individual providers of the service up until now have come together in a partnership called 3 CIPA and will now provide the Independent Professional Advocacy across the counties of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.

Those partners are Advocacy West Wales-Eiriolaeth Gorllewin Cymru (takes a lead on the service), Dewis CIL, Age Cymru Dyfed, Carmarthenshire People First and Carers’ Trust Crossroads West Wales.

There is a wealth of experience in delivery of quality advocacy services within the partnership.

We will be providing Independent Professional Advocacy for people with needs for care and support or their carers who are involved in:

Social Care Assessment, Planning and Review, Safeguarding Processes

Or if there is a recent complaint about any of these

The partners also deliver a range of other specialist community and statutory advocacy services and other support services across the region.

If you are an individual seeking advocacy support, or a professional working with someone in need of advocacy support, you will be able to contact the Single Point of Contact by:

Telephone: 0800 2061387

or

Email: [email protected]

Our colleagues at the Single Point of Contact will be able to talk with you to find out which advocacy service would best meet your needs, or the needs of the person on whose behalf you have contacted us.

People already receiving support from IPA services are being informed of the changes. Their advocacy will be provided by the same partner service within the 3CIPA service and they will be assisted with the transition to the new service.
