A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a mature lady living in the Butetown area of Cardiff. I am very young at heart but old in ability. I love to watch nice things on the television and take great pride in myself and my home. I have a small family that I love to speak to, most days.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

I’m looking for relief PA to cover holidays and sickness. I would need help with day to day tasks which can vary from supporting and encouraging me in the shower to picking up a pint of milk and posting a letter.

 

HOURS OF WORK

The relief cover would be for an hour of care each day (when the permanent PA is on holiday or off sick) in the mornings with extra time on a Tuesday to assist with longer tasks. 

 

Annual leave cover is for approximately 5.6 weeks per year.

 

RATE OF PAY

£12.70 per hour.

TASKS CAN INCLUDE

• -       Meal preparation.
• -       Checking if food is in date and edible.
• -       Supporting me with sorting out mail.
• -       Light domestic tasks.
• -       Shopping.
• -       Supervise, encourage and support with personal care.

 

TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

 

• -      Someone who is efficient and who uses their own initiative.
• -      Someone who is reliable.
• -      Someone who is helpful.
• -      Someone who is calm and caring.

ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A probation period will be necessary in the first instance. Wages will be paid 4 weekly. You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You will be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you.
