Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

 

 

I am a young boy living in the St Mellons area of Cardiff. I will need two PAs who can keep me safe. I like going to park when it’s not busy as I don’t like crowded places. I use a wheelchair when I’m out in the community.

 

 

PURPOSE OF JOB

I need PAs who can take me out in the community.

 

 

PLACE OF WORK

 

Home and in the community.

 

 

HOURS OF WORK

 

6 hours per week. Times and days to discuss at the interview.

 

Calls needing to be double handed.

 

RATE OF PAY

£12.70

 

TASKS INVOLVED

 

·        Take me out in the community and ensure I am safe

·        Keep me occupied and engaged in activities

·        Help me with personal care

·        Provide me snacks and drink

  

 

 

TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

 

·        Car driver required and is essential for this position.

ABOUT THE JOB

 

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted.  A probation period will be necessary in the first instance.  Wages will be paid 4 weekly.  You will receive 5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata). You will be required to apply for a DBS check at no expense to you.
