What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): A personal assistant should be understanding and supportive while also respecting the individual’s dignity, privacy and independence. Being trustworthy attentive and adaptable because everyone has different needs and preferences.

How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I can contribute by providing support in a way that encourages the person to remain as independent as possible. I would listen carefully to the needs, assisting with daily activities when required and encourage them to make their own choices and decisions.

What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): What appeals me most is the opportunity to make a positive difference in someone’s life. I find it rewarding because it allows me to support people in maintaining their independence and improve their quality of life.

What are your hobbies/interests? (required): My hobbies are reading , cooking, listening to music, walking and spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy activities that help me stay calm and positive, which I believe is important when working in a caring and supportive role.
