JOB DESCRIPTION

Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I’m a 16 year old girl living with my family in Rhydyfelin. I have Autism and PDA which is pathological demand avoidance. This means I don’t like being given demands; I will refuse to do what is instructed. It works better if you give me choices rather than demands. That way, I feel I’m in control by making the choice.

I am young for my age but still enjoy typical teenager things like shopping, cinema, arcades and going out for food. I also enjoy going to comic conventions when they are in Cardiff and places like Drayton Manor.

Sometimes I come across as abrupt, cheeky and showing no empathy but I am very caring deep down. I prefer going to familiar places because I feel very nervous and anxious with new people and places.  I have dyspraxia which can sometimes cause me to lose balance and can affect the length and time I’m walking.
