Give details of your previous employment or experience which you think would help you to do this job	I have previously worked as a support worker to adults with learning disabilities supporting them to access the community also supporting with meal prep and domestic duties enabling them to live as independently as the can. I also cared for my elderly father, until he passed away. I am currently working as a respite foster carer with my partner to offer children a safe place to reside until a permanent placement is offered to them I have also worked as a domestic cleaner
What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person?	I think important qualities as a personal assistant to a disabled person are being non judgemental, patient showing empathy and being a good listener so you can meet their needs as much as possible
How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person?	I think it is important as a personal assistant working with a disabled person to help them maintain their independence as much as possible, and to build up trust and a good rapport, being non judgemental and enable them to enjoy as normal a life as possible
What is it about PA work which appeals to you?	PA appeals to me because I like to build a good working relationship and getting job satisfaction with the person,
What are your hobbies/interests?	I enjoy watching sport mainly rugby football and cricket I enjoy looking around charity shops and flea markets I also enjoy upcycling old furniture and going on the internet
