A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 33 year old man living in the Mountain Ash area. I love all types of Country music and going to the Cinema especially to watch cartoons including Tom and Jerry. I would like to attend the Gym and maybe go swimming. I have Autism and some health issues and use a walking stick or frame just for that little extra support when I am out. I am a happy go lucky type of person who likes a chat and will be open to try new places in the local area.

PURPOSE OF JOB

Support me out in the community and appointments from time to time.

HOURS OF WORK

6 hours per week, ideally be worked in 1 day.

RATES OF PAY

£16.00 per hour + Mileage

Supporting when we are out
Help me find new activities and places to go
Be able to take me swimming and to the Gym

TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

Driver with access to own vehicle.
Someone vigilant, present in the moment and pays attention at all times.
Someone friendly, approachable and has patience.
Someone punctual and reliable as routine is very important to me.
Someone willing to go swimming with me.
Positive approach to the job.
Confident and able to work on your own initiative.

ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).

The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
