Give details of your previous employment or experience which you think would help you to do this job. (required): I’ve experience in the care sector from (Dom care to palliative care/ and as a personal assistant the last 3 plus years. I’m registered to carry out my role efficiently. I am a hands on carer and to the best of my ability do a good thorough job of caring and tending to patients. I’m punctual/ trustworthy. Good at listening and paying attention to others needs.
What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): Good communication between one another. Knowing the history of the individual’s health . Understanding of their needs. Being able to plan beforehand if getting out and about within the public.
How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): By planning beforehand before going out within the public’ to ensure it will meet the individuals needs. By good communication and an understanding of their needs. By being there in every aspect the individual may need.
What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): I adore caring and being there for others. I love my job and in meeting others to assist in any capacity. There is always someone worse off than ourselves and each need help and care along the way.
What are your hobbies/interests?: I enjoy reading/ listening to music from the 60s and 70s. Spending quality time with my daughter and two boy cats.
