Ex social worker, educated to Master level. who currently works as a self employed live in carer for Elder, and previously for Dimensions. I have experience of working with dementia patients, both professionally and personally.

Lots of patience, kind, empathetic, and a sense of humour always helps. I am able to remain calm in challenging and or crisis situations.

Help to support people to live their lives how they choose, including providing company and engagement to engage and stimulate. Empowering, in their own home and out and about, as long as it is safe for their personal and living requirements.

What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): 

I enjoy the variety of the role and meeting new people.

I enjoy cold water swimming, keeping fit and active, social occasions with friends along with reading. I am currently learning Spanish, and am an active member of Penarth rifle club. I have just returned from 6 months travelling.
