Personal Assistant

A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a 17-year-old boy living in the Beddau area, I have just recently come out of hospital after an accident. I will need support and assistance to help me get ready in the mornings to start my day and attend school.

To support in the home to get ready to start my day.

HOURS OF WORK

Mornings only

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturday and Sundays 2 hours double handed care

Tuesdays and Thursdays 2 hours single care to work with mum

RATE OF PAY

£15.45 per hour

TASKS INVOLVED

Personal care involved.
Support with eating and drinking.
Support with medication.
Support with dressing.
Support with changing my pad.
Support with transfers to get ready for school.

TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

Someone who is reliable and punctual.
A person who is kind and friendly
Someone who can recognise my needs.
Experience would be desirable but not essential.

ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay given. The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority). The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
