I have worked in residential care homes, nursing homes and done some private care in the community. I have barrier nursed service users who have needed end of life care, I have assisted with daily needs such as personal care, assisted with meals and maintaining nutritional needs. I have completed training courses in first aid, manual handling, safety in the workplace, COSHH, Dementia and Mental capacity.

How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): Understanding the needs of a disabled person, reading the care plan and following it whilst providing care, gaining trust and understanding.
What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): I am passionate about the health care sector and believe that everyone needs and deserves help. I have pursued this career for a number of years and my passion for helping people has grown.
What are your hobbies/interests?: My hobbies and interests are going to the gym, reading books, spending time with my family and socialising with friends.
