Give details of your previous employment or experience which you think would help you to do this job. (required): I worked for a company called Partnership of Care for a number of years supporting people in the community and at home, from there i started working for an agency Diverse Cymru as a PA for an individual but they then got taken over by Dewis Independent Living , so i have been employed through this agency for the last 7 years supporting an individual in the community , we go for nice walks, cinema, coffee shops, lunch out, do a bit of food shopping and keeping my client safe and happy in the environment we are in and enjoying our time out

What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): Patient , helpful, calm, easy approachable, reliable with good time keeping.

How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I am a happy chatty person , patient, reliable and understanding, i always like to make my time with a person a good experience, caring and making sure safe at all times.

What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): I have done this job for over 12 years, i cant imagine doing anything else , it makes me happy knowing that i am helping people live as independent as possible , it gives me great satisfaction knowing the person i am supporting has had a good day in my company .

What are your hobbies/interests? (required): I am an owner of 2 horses so that is a big part of my life, i also enjoy keeping fit through bike riding, running and having a bit of down time reading books.
