My most recent roles include working at ProCare Nursing as a Care Assistant, as well as providing care at Ty Llanishen Home Care and Bellevista. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in supporting individuals with their daily living needs, including personal care, mobility assistance, medication support, and companionship. I have worked with elderly residents, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized care, always ensuring dignity, respect, and a high standard of care. My long-standing commitment to this field has equipped me with the skills and compassion necessary to excel in this role.

What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): Patience, compassion, reliability, good communication, flexibility, and practical care skills are essential for supporting a disabled person effectively

How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I can support a disabled person by providing respectful, person-centered care that promotes their independence. This includes assisting with daily tasks, encouraging choice and autonomy, and offering emotional support while ensuring their safety and well-being.

I enjoy building trusting relationships and helping individuals maintain their dignity and quality of life.
