Give details of your previous employment or experience which you think would help you to do this job. (required): I have recently worked as a customer service agent with Starling bank. This was primarily an inbound customer service and I supported individuals on a variety of issues including fraud, charges, complaints and bereavement. I built good relationships with customers and dealt with very serious and emotionally charged issues. I have worked with individuals and customers since 2014 in a variety of roles. I frequently support my friendship group and an individual who has autism and mental health issues for over 10 years so I have lots of experience with Mental Health Support techniques and have developed a calm and patient manner in supporting their issues.


What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): Compassion, understanding and a desire to support and make individuals lives better.


How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I have had previous experience working with people with health conditions and disabled with a close family friend supporting his care. I can also swim and am fit to care for individuals. I am able to cook a variety of dishes catering to peoples dietary requirements. I am also a qualified first Aider.


What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): I loved helping people in my previous role at Starling Bank and would love to continue this is in a more 1:1 career.


What are your hobbies/interests?: I love to swim and have been described as a barracuda in the water. I love music and can teach people to play a variety of instruments from guitar to drums and bass. I love to play a variety of video and card games and enjoy talking about them. I also love to cook and enjoy preparing dishes for people.
