Give details of your previous employment or experience which you think would help you to do this job. (required): NVQ level 2 in health and social care I have supported a client for 7 years who was living with young onset dementia. I have previously worked in Elderly care homes gaining experience, caring for elderly clients. I have supported a lady for 8 years with special needs taking her out into the community and various activities.

What qualities do you think are important when working as a personal assistant with a disabled person? (required): Trust kindness patience and reliability are just a few qualities I would like the client to feel. To feel safe and comfortable and happy in my care.

How do you think you can contribute towards the needs and the independence of a disabled person? (required): I would encourage my client with kindness and patience to feel/be as independent as possible whilst supporting at all times. Respecting their choices and offering advice if required.

What is it about PA work which appeals to you? (required): I have always enjoyed looking after people who need help to improve the day to day quality of their lives. I enjoy seeing the happiness and joy that my support has helped with for my clients individual needs

What are your hobbies/interests? (required): I have lots of hobbies as I am always keen to learn. Reading, walking different places. Swimming. DIY. Crafts
